Suffering Souls Looking for the Lost Ones!
Suffering Souls Looking for the Lost Ones!
Some pictures are worth more than a thousand words. They save a lots of words from being said but you couldn’t say much either if you wanted to.
Imagine for a second the hurt caused to this old father because his son has gone missing for indefinite time.
The sense of deprivation he feels morning after morning and every night before he goes to sleep.
How does he feel every time he looks at a bright, ambitious young man? Is his son still alive or dead?
He doesn’t seem to have much but what wouldn’t he give to get this part of himself back or even to know his whereabouts.
You couldn’t paint agony, desperation, tragedy and helplessness any better even if you were Pablo Picasso.
Let’s forget innocent until proven guilty and believe that photo in the photo is that of a terrorist’s; wouldn’t it be fair to have him trialed & punished or even hanged, if it befits, so his family could have their peace of mind instead of abducting him like he never existed making hell out the lives of his beloved ones?
How can a term like “MISSING PERSONS” even exist in today’s hyper-informed Pakistan where nothing goes missing from media hawks, social media activists or efficient judges?
Nobody deserves a fate like this and we must do at least as little as we can before someone we know, love, live with or give birth to, goes missing. God forbid!
